Wildwood Kin are a female family alternative/indie trio from the West Country whose striking blend of acoustic roots music on electronic and acoustic instruments with stunning vocal harmonies and driving percussion has garnered great acclaim and a signing to Sony.
BBC Introducing favourites, their performance at Glastonbury 2017 was selected by the BBC as one of the Highlights of the festival and their first 4 singles have all featured on the BBC Radio 2 playlist.
Their vocal harmonies feature throughout Seth Lakeman's top 20 album "Ballads of the Broken Few".
Having recently signed to Sony’s Silvertone Label, their own incredible debut album “Turning Tides” was released in August and entered the top 40 album charts and number 2 in the UK Americana charts.
In September 2017 they flew to to Nashville to appear at the US Americanas as Bob Harris' emerging artist of the year.
After completing their first headline UK tour in late 2017, in early 2018 they appeared on BBC4's One Night Only Return of the acclaimed TV program the Old Grey Whistle Test and their album re-entered the charts as a result.
2018 will see the band tour and play festivals both in the UK, mainland Europe and the USA.
